Besides the proper wood engravings by Fred Thomas Larson I also found these two colour woodblock prints in old auction house catalogues.
Fred Larson began his artistic career when he was a young man as an apprentice lithographer. He was a painter in watercolor and oils, and learned to make woodcuts. Fred was one of the founding members of the Palette and Chisel Academy of Fine Arts in 1895 and published a book in 1938: Wood Engravings. Here's a collection, some examples of his work showing his great skills as an engraver and printer.
This St. Louis Cathedral (below) considerd one of his finest and most memorable prints.
