About me

The Linosaurus
(after a Jurassic Parc type of prints collector)

A Weblog started many years ago dedicated to gods and lesser gods of woodblock and linoleum-cut printing. And all things beautiful and interesting worth sharing.

My Odyssey into the world of pioneering with the medium German women printmakers 1900-1935.

Over the years, when prints were plenty and bountiful, collectors scarce and prices low a wonderful collection was build. Those were the days.

Over 1 Million visits !

When, a few years ago, warnings of "decadent content" were added unasked and pictures blurred, the joy of sharing, which had brought me dear friends in different parts of the world, dwindled and eventually lead to discontinuation. At the end of 2023 the blog was resurrected. In the meantime a Website dedicate to the collection and its huge archive was built.
