Recently I stumbled over this water color painting by leading contemporary Chinese water color artists and university professor Huayi Yu (1922 -) and it reminded me of my recent visit to the important Lawrence Alma-Tadema (1836-1912) exposition (near my hometown in Leeuwarden-Friesland november 2016 - ) still impressed by the dazzling use of perspective in Tadema's "Point of Vantage". It left me in wonder ................
